Hello, Kia Ora
Specialising in factual content, I am so proud to have directed and produced a collection of short documentary films focusing on underrepresented groups in sporting spaces, something I am incredibly passionate about. With a love for adventure and the outdoors, I am lucky to have extensive experience in producing travel television and digital series for Youtube. I connect with people easily, which I feel makes me strongest when I’m working out in the field with small crews and following projects through from development to delivery. Having worked across multiple roles for a variety of production budgets and formats, I am flexible and able to adapt quickly to project requirements - always with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
How can I help?
-
I have produced and directed a variety of non-scripted video projects both as a freelancer and as a senior producer for a Melbourne based video production company. From series producing a globally distributed travel television series, working directly with national sporting bodies, creating corporate films for global companies and crafting social media films for not-for-profit business, I can adapt quickly to project requirements and work across a variety of budgets and formats. Many television and branded projects have not had a director present and I have worked very collaboratively with DoPs to direct talent and crew on set.

Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, I bring stories to life through meticulous attention to detail and a creative approach. With storytelling as my speciality, I am able to bring longer form narratives to life or create short and engaging clips for social media.

I have worked as a shooter producer and second camera for network television as well as camera operated for a variety of social media and digital outputs. Specialised in sony cinema cameras (FX6, FX3 and A7S series), I love when I have the opportunity to be part of the camera team. I’m also very confident assisting with lens swinging, clapperboards, battery management and data wrangling if that is what you’re project needs!

Starting my career as a production co-ordinator, I have maintained these skills across producing jobs and projects I have worked on solely. In recent years I have worked as the operations coordinator for a big budget reality television program requiring me to look after crew rosters, create budget trackers and work with POs and invoicing.

With experience as a cast driver on film sets, I excel in ensuring that talent arrives on time, feeling confident and happy, allowing productions to run smoothly and efficiently. Going beyond transportation, I prioritize the comfort and well-being of the cast while maintaining a keen awareness of the dynamic nature of film shoots. I pride myself on my strong communication skills and adaptability. I have experience looking after extras on set including directing their background actions, keeping cast up to the latest with what we’re filming and of course ensuring the AD team are caffeinated and looked after.
